Mr. Schaufele serves as Principal of The Energy & Minerals Group (EMG).  Prior to joining EMG in July 2011, Mr. Schaufele served as Senior Associate at Parallel Investment Partners (“Parallel”), a $400 million private equity firm focused on the energy, consumer and business services industries, from 2007 to 2011.  While at Parallel, his primary responsibilities included financial analysis, work plan development, industry evaluation, business due diligence, investment structuring, operating partner management and legal documentation.  From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Schaufele served as Analyst in the Investment Banking Group at JPMorgan, spending two years in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group and one year in the Oil & Gas Group.

Mr. Schaufele graduated Magna Cum Laude from Washington & Lee University with a BS in Business and Accounting in 2004.
