EMG entered into its fourth joint venture with MarkWest Energy Partners, LP (“MWE”), a wholly owned subsidiary of MPLX LP (NYSE: MPLX), through the newly created MarkWest EMG Jefferson Dry Gas Gathering Company, L.L.C. (“Utica Dry Gas JV”) targeting the development of the dry gas window of the Utica Shale.
