MarkWest Utica EMG is EMG’s second joint venture with MarkWest Energy Partners, LP (“MWE”). On December 4, 2015, MWE became become a wholly owned subsidiary of MPLX LP (“MPLX”). MarkWest Utica EMG is focused on the greenfield development of an integrated and scalable natural gas gathering, processing, natural gas liquids fractionation, transportation and marketing footprint focused in the core of the liquids rich Utica Shale in southern Ohio.
